Up for sale is an amazing 1975 Ford F-250 Ranger 4x4 High Boy pickup truck. This truck is still one of the best-looking trucks on the road after all these years. While restoring classic vehicles is not only my business and passion, they are only original once, and I elected to retain the gorgeous original paint on this one rather than perform a full restoration. You’ll see why... It is a one-family-owned truck since special-ordered when new, has always been garage kept, and is in exceptionally well-maintained mechanical condition, as well as being very straight, with no overt presentation of rust. The truck still wears its’ factory-original Raven Black paint, so you can see exactly what’s going on. Tasteful period-correct custom features that were added when the truck was new include a CB radio, heavy-duty front winch bumper with Warn winch, heavy-duty custom rear tow bumper, and awesome wide Aluminum Slot wheels mounted with BF Goodrich Mud Terrain Radial T/A tires! The truck is a total time machine... Move over, Bandit!

Details as follows:

1975 Ford F-250 Ranger 4x4 High Boy, factory-original Raven Black paint and restored Bright Red interior; a beautiful and rare color combination, and my personal favorite. Factory options include Four Wheel Drive, 4-speed Manual Transmission, AM/FM Stereo Radio, High Output Heater, Dual Auxiliary Fuel Tanks, Camper/Tow mirrors (original), Power Steering, and Power Brakes. I should note that if someone prefers a black interior, I can swap out this new upholstery for the same in black (I own a classic auto restoration shop and have an in-house Upholstery division, Rose Lane Restorations). This rare truck is loaded with the hard-to-find Ranger trim package, including the lower side trim and fancy tailgate trim. The truck is an easy driver with power steering and power brakes.

The body is exceptionally straight, having never been involved in any accident. The original Raven Black paint remains in very good shiny condition, as you can see, and has just been treated to a professional paint polish ... she looks great! The hood was repainted at some point, presumably due to oxidation from the sun; otherwise original finish. The truck is as straight as you might find anywhere, with only very minor dings and small scratches; very straight original body panels. Good glass throughout, original chrome front bumper with winch extension tray, and handsome well-built rear step bumper with integral receiver hitch. It has nice XLT Ranger stainless side molding trim, Ranger bright windshield trim, bright cab trim, fancy year-specific Ranger stainless tailgate panel, beautiful original front grills, nice rear tail lamp bezels, and more. The bed is solid as well, with no rust issues and still wearing original paint. I left the bed washed but untouched so you can see how solid it is. I can spray in a bed liner if you’d like, depending upon our deal. You may also have noticed the period-correct vintage period-correct Warn winch installed behind the factory front bumper... classic!

The factory Bright Red interior features new professionally done seat upholstery and matching headliner (done by my shop, Rose Lane Restorations), restored dash and dash pad, restored door panels, restored visors, and original carpet still in very nice condition. The balance of the interior is original and shows well, including the dash bezel, gauges in working order, working turn signals, wipers, optional High Output heater, etc. This truck has three fuel tanks (Main plus two Aux), all in operable condition!

The engine is a 1968 390-4v High Performance unit rebuilt with approximately 30,000 miles, replacing the original low-output 360 2v. It features a fresh tune-up, new carburetor, and new dual exhaust, it is still crisp and fresh. It runs and sounds great, and is very powerful and smooth. Transmission is factory four-speed manual in proper operating condition, along with the 4x4 transfer case. The front axle is the legendary Dana 44 Spicer big-hub closed-knuckle unit and is essentially bullet-proof. The rear axle is the big Dana 60 with matching 4.10 gears.

The wheels are super-rare 16.5 Aluminum Slot Mags, mounted with original period BFG Mud Terrain Radial T/A tires in almost new tread condition, with minor sidewall checking. The truck drives extremely well, and tracks straight down the road. She steers easily with factory optional power assist steering, and brakes well with the power brake option. In summary, the truck is a real pleasure to drive.

The wheel wells and hubs have been cleaned, painted, and detailed so as not to detract from the beauty of the truck. The rear springs feature an air bag “helper” for heavy loads and towing. There is also an integral receiver hitch under the steel rear step bumper.

This is fantastic original classic High Boy you can climb in and enjoy exactly as-is. This High Boy is the Bandit Trans Am of trucks... Burt Reynolds would be loud and proud riding high in this beauty!

Clear title in hand, matches VIN exactly for inspection, export, etc.

You may call me directly at 360-936-9257 with any questions you may have. I reserve the right to end my auction early as I have the truck advertised on my website and locally as well.

While every effort has been made to describe the vehicle as accurately as possible, it is in fact a 43-year-old classic vehicle, and therefore being sold as-is, without warranty or guarantee expressed, written, or implied. Expect minor issues associated with a classic vehicle of this era.

Please be ready to make payment in full within 3 days of auction’s end via deposit into my Bank of America account, or bank wire transfer.
