Beautifully restored 1957 Ford Thunderbird. When purchased in 2010 by current owner, the car was clean and ran well with all of that gleaming chrome in very good condition. It came with a green portal window hard top, the original green Tonneau cover, and a cloth car cover. It has power steering, power assist brakes, the Fordomatic 3 speed automatic transmission, and sunburst wheel covers. Since 2010, a to the frame restoration has been completed, including a gleaming new all chrome off "Colonial White" paint job, complete re-upholstering in original "Willow Green" (medium green & light green two tone color combo), and replacement of all hoses, seals, engine gaskets and weather stripping. New springs and a beefier front sway bar, along with new gas shocks, front wheel bearings and Coker Classic radial 2 3/8" whitewall tires produce a smooth, comfortable and stable ride. A new electronic ignition was added, the windshield wiper motor was replaced, as was the power steering assist valve & lines (all hoses & lines replaced). New Pinion seal and battery. Additional upgrades include seat belts, air conditioning (with corresponding upgraded larger engine fan), a new (replica designed) AM/FM stereo radio w/RCA jacks, and a black aftermarket soft top. EVERYTHING works on this beauty. The hard top & the soft top fit snug. Glass pack dual exhausts give the 312ci/ 245 hp 4bbl V8 engine a deep throaty growl. The car has been stored in a climate controlled garage during the winters (garaged year round) and is very lightly driven in the summers. Also included is an easy to use hoist for the hard top, making adding & removing the hard top a breeze for one person. Hard & soft tops, Tonneau cover, and cloth car cover all included.
