1965 Ford Mustang Additional Info:

Offered for sale is an absolutely gorgeous 1965 Ford Mustang hardtop. In the classic red and white combination which the collectors referred to as a "Marilyn Monroe" As you study the photos you will see that this car has gone through a thorough restoration. Lifelong California car that's solid throughout with beautiful original cowl, floors and trunk.
I'm listing this car for the gentleman who had it restored. One of his hobbies is to find these classics and restore them back to their former glory and then pass them on to be enjoyed by others. I am also the one who did the restoration work so will be able to answer any question in detail you may have regarding this beautiful Mustang. 9492128697
This Mustang runs, drives and looks like a new car. Everything works on the car as it should, yes everything.
Absolutely stunning, will not be disappointed once in its presence.
200 cid in-line six cylinder, fully synchronized manual 3-speed transmission, 283.0 rear gear & factory power brakes.

The car presents itself as stock though it's had many subtle upgrades for safety and drivability. Some of which are dual master cylinder, three point retractable seat belts in the front, export brace, backseat to trunk firewall, electronic ignition and the fully synchronized big bearing three speed transmission among others.
There is only 51,000 original miles on this pony as a had been parked for over 30 years. And there is now just over 200 miles on the complete restoration which is enough time to prove that all the mechanical ( engine, transmission, differential, breaks and suspension) were rebuilt or replaced properly.
One of the many outstanding qualities of this car is the seat upholstery. As you will note this is the unusual bench seat version. Which is quite a refreshing difference and very functional. As you study the photos you will noticed just how awesome the upholstery work is. It was hand sewn by a master craftsman who's been doing Mustangs for over 30 years. This is not one of the $160 kits that you have some upholstery guy sling on your seat frames. Front and back seat restoration was $1000 on its own. Yeah this car is the real deal. The paint and chrome on the dash is original, only needed cleaned and buffed that's how nice this car is. The door panels are original as well. The rest of the Interior and paint was redone throughout.
Now I know there's a lot of Mustangers who pooh-pooh the six-cylinder cars and that's only because they haven't driven a properly prepared example. First of all the cars are lighter and more nimble and with a fully synchronized three speed transmission they zip around like the true sports cars they are. Not to mention the extremely easy maintenance and good fuel economy.
Obviously I could go on and on about this beautiful Mustang but by studying the photos you can learn a lot about it.And on that note you will notice in one of the photos of the lower drivers door there was a repair done. It is a bit crude but easy to overlook, hardly noticeable really. Obviously the worst thing about this car but does not take away anything from this stunning Mustang, it must be pointed out so there's no misunderstanding of the car you will be purchasing.
If this is a turnoff you should find another car to purchase.
