For sale: 1966 Ford F100 survivor big block 4 speed truck with the rare 5 bolt Dana 60 positraction rear. High desert truck that's never seen salt, and it's wearing perfect patina. Good running and driving truck that would be great for trips to the Home Depot or Cars N Coffee. I bought the truck from an older gent here who was the second owner. He used it for dump runs and a backup driver, and kept up on the maintenance, it hasn't been sitting fallow in a field like so many. I'll do my best to describe it below, please read the entire ad and see linked Photobucket album with 80 detail photos.
Exterior: Original paint wearing some very cool patina. Plenty of dents, dings and scratches from a life of ranch use, some minor rust but no rot, I'd say 98 percent rust free. Dry western truck with external rust limited to leading edge of hood where dust and dirt builds up and holds moisture and two small spots in box, one where foot of a tire carrier trapped water. Underside looks great, cab mounts and floors as nice as I've seen and only rust underneath is at bottom of cab drop-offs, see detail pics in Photobucket album listed below. Overall decent solid truck.

Interior: All original in decent driver condition. Original seat upholstery is torn on driver side under blanket cover. Dash is in surprisingly good shape with one crack. Original floor mat in good condition. Most everything works, all gauges, wipers, heater, windows, etc. Needs headliner, glass is good save windshield which is cracked. No smells and it hasn't been a rodent motel like many old trucks. Very presentable rig that even the wife will like riding in.
Mechanical: Starts, runs, and drives out well with original big block 352, bulletproof T18 four speed and rare five bolt Dana 60 3.54 posi rear. Engine is solid with good power, no noise, smoke or major leaks and decent oil pressure. Clutch does chatter a bit. I've used it around town for a parts chaser and have had no issues, no big road trips though. Tires need to be replaced, they have good tread but are weathercracked. There is a light vibration at higher speeds, not horrible, possibly u-joint or carrier bearing. Overall very solid truck that's ready to use as is and improve while you drive it.

Pricing/Misc: This auction is NO RESERVE. Title is clear and in my name, buyer will need to get insurance upon purchase as I will cancel mine. Truck can stay here for 30 days, after that $100/month storage will be due. Reasonable transport is available, and I will help load the truck on a transport. License plates shown are not included but I have other old plates I can include.
