1962 Ford F-100 Custom cab Additional Info:

Nice Arizona 1962 Ford F-100 unibody combines that classic old truck feel with a clean, updated look that really works. V8 power and a new interior definitely help, and with good workmanship throughout, this one will definitely get attention at the next cruise night. These unibody Fords are sought after and hard to find. Ford added some dramatic flares around the wheel arches, making this one of the best-looking trucks of the early 60's. Finish quality is very good, with tidy gaps all around and a giant clamshell hood that fits better than most., while the emblems on the sides of the hood remain bright chrome. The bed is finished in bed liner and its so pretty you'll have to force yourself to actually use this truck as a truck, but have no fear, as its actually textured bedliner material that is plenty tough for the dirty jobs. Big, bold letters on the tailgate leave no doubt as to what kind of truck this is. The handsome and understated interior focuses on the basics and gets them exactly right. The original bench seat is wrapped in white vinyl, with teal inserts that look just right for 1962. The dash was painted cream and green to give the interior a bright, airy feel. A 3-speed automatic falls easily to hand, and the big steering wheel makes it easy to wheel this pickup around in tight quarters. its Blue Oval to the core, in this case 292 cubic inches worth of truck-grade V8. The truck has a 4 barrel edelbrock 1405 carb, Its nicely detailed and simple in its execution, wearing a Mustang-style chrome air cleaner up top and a very tidy look overall. No big upgrades, just reliable torque and an easy going personality that make it a lot of fun to drive. Motor was just rebuilt this month. The aforementioned 3-speed automatic transmission shifts easily and has well-spaced gears for zipping around town, but even with truck-like gearing for the heavy work, it shouldn't mind cruising along at modern highway speeds. Painted steel wheels with hubcaps are just the right look, and they are wrapped in Wide Whitewall tires for a suitably Rat rod vibe. We really like this truck because its unusual enough to get noticed but still practical and useful as a tool. With V8 power and a comfortable interior, its sure to become your favorite vehicle to drive. No resonable offer will be refused!!!!
