1963 Ford Fairlane 500 Additional Info:

Thanks for viewing! This auction if for a 1963 Ford Fairlane 500 2-door hardtop. Daily driver/numbers matching. Essentially the top of the line for the model (no post!). The car is 100% original and in an unmolested state. I purchased this from the original owners family with the intentions of doing a little bit of restoration at a time since these cars are hard to find with a factory manual shift and don't come up for sale too often. Sadly, however, I must sell as I just recently lost my garage and I'm the process of moving (my loss is your gain). Since this is a factory 3-on-the-tree manual shift, I of course had intentions of doing a floor shift conversion (which this car begs for!). Its an original Alabama car but spent the past year in Michigan before moving here to New York. New tires and Flowmaster dual exhaust. The water pump is a little tired. Great for puttering around town as is, but she will definitely need TLC as the pictures denote. The floors are solid overall but the front could use some patching. Original interior is tired, but replacement OEM style upholstery is available from Mustang Market for a really nice price (in factory 2-tone chestnut as well). Car is relatively straight, but obviously will need some TLC as well. Column shift is a little sloppy and could use a replacement. Again, this is an original unmolested 55 year old gal that will require attention! As such, this car is being sold as is. Feel free to call me with questions (516 551 2487) or inspect in person. I also have a short video of the car running. I will attempt to post it to the listing somehow! Super low starting bid and a modest reserve considering this car is a hardtop. My loss is your gain. Bid high and often!
