1965 Ford Mustang Additional Info:

This is a 1964 1/2 Mustang. It was bought new in Asheville N.C. and came in Wilmington White. It is a Factory D Code car, which means it came from the factory with a 289CI with a Four Barrel Carb. It also has a Four Speed Top Loader transmission. The second owner bought the car from the original owner in Asheville and did all the work to it. He owned the car for ten years and did body work for a living. The paint is Mercedes Benz Black and Viper Blue. The gauges have been ungraded and reflect the mileage on the car since the ground up restoration, which is around 5000 miles. The only questionable spot on the car is on the bottom of the drivers door, (Last Picture) I'm not sure if it is rust or a Paint run. It has not changed in the 3 years that I have owned it. The engine runs very strong and has no issues. Transmission shifts good and stays in gear with no issues. The seats are factory and have never been recovered. The driver seat does have a small rip in the stitching. The Vintage Air A/C was just added to the car and I haven't wired it yet or added freon. The battery was moved to the trunk for a clean look to the engine compartment. It has sub-frame connectors. New bushings in the front end. Disk Brakes on the front ( Not Power ). Also no power Steering. This is a very Clean Car and gets a lot of attention. I just took it to The Run To The Sun Car Show at Myrtle Beach and had so many compliments. This is not a Shelby! The second owner did the Shelby theme. I have a video of it running and a walk around, if I can figure out how to post it. The paint may have some small nicks or scratches. Not very noticeable, just so you know it's not perfect. I would think any Mustang person would Love this car. I'm selling because I have too many and trimming down my collection.
