1976 Ford F-250 F-250 Additional Info:

Not many folks can say they've even seen a truck like this, never mind owned one. Only 89 Bicentennials were ever built in the Highboy package and of that only 57 had the same paint/trim codes, according to a recent Marti Report that was pulled on 1/8/2018.
The Bicentennial was a 1-year-only truck that was built to celebrate.
This truck was sold new by Courtesy Ford in Littleton, CO where it has lived its whole life. It has 2 previous owners that took very good care of it. It comes with lots of service records, the original Owner card, original manual, original bill of sale and -- get this (!!) -- the original window sticker. It all comes with the truck.
Everything about this truck is cool! Mechanically it runs and drives better than most. On 10/16/89 the original owner took it to Brighton Ford to have a NEW 390 CID motor installed. That was done at 67,418 which means there is now 42,228 miles on the current motor. The receipt for this transplant is in the paperwork. It does not leak, smoke or burn oil. The transmission is strong and the t-case shifts properly. The wheels and tires have less than 2000 miles on them. It just got new dual exhaust (was done after the pics), factory disc brakes up front, power steering and power brakes. Recent work includes radiator re-core, cooling system flush, resealed engine and tune up.
Cosmetically it is in good shape outside. The original paint shows some nicks, scratches and such but for a 42-year-old truck she looks darn nice. The only rust to speak of is two spots; one above each rear wheel well. That rust can easily be repaired but I was worried about damaging the decals from the heat. If the owner would like the rust repaired I would be willing to do both sides and blend in for an extra $550. We will go to great lengths to preserve something this cool but I can’t promise the decals will come out unscathed. The rest of the truck is rust free. I am happy to take additional pics and videos for anyone interested.
The interior of this truck is an 8 out of 10. I would’ve said 9/10 but I like to under-promise and over-deliver. It’s so nice! The coolest part is the original owner took the bench seat out when it was new and put it in his garage. He had bucket seats in it all those years. So, the seat you see in the pictures is the original Bicentennial seat as it left the factory. It is in excellent condition.
I also have the original fiberglass shell you can see in one of the pics. I am happy to throw that in if the new owner wants it. Just let me know.
