1967 Fairlane 500 289 4V C4 Automatic. Up for auction is a very nice and solid 56,000 mile 1967 Fairlane 500 2 door hardtop in original condition. This Fairlane is a California built red with red interior "C" code 500 Hardtop. The carhas a 302 4V (D10E-6015-AA) engine with 351 Windsor heads along with its original C4 transmission and 2.79:1 8 inch rear axle. The car has power steering and manual front disc brakes. A brand new B&M floor shifter is mounted along with new front & rear sway bars. The car has all its original sheet metal. The rear quarters are very solid and will need only very minor work. The front floor pans are also solid with minor scaling. The hood, fenders, doors and trunk lid are solid. Torque boxes,trunk drops,front & rear frame rails, fender apron tops, shock towers are all in excellent shape. Drivers door has a repair around latch area. I also have an extra hood in excellent condition. The interior is original and in good condition. The front bench has been recovered in black and is in excellent condition. The car will need door panels and headliner but a brand new black carpet is included. The glass is the original and in excellent shape except the windshield which is cracked. The front window trim is in excellent shape along with the rear window trim, head lamp and tail lamp trim. I do not have any of the body side moldings for this car except the wheel opening trim. There are several extra parts included with the vehicle.
This is a great project that is easy to restore and have ready to enjoy very quickly. The caris ready for easy transport, I am also available to help load on my end. The car has its VIN on the radiator support, door tag and axle tag. Ialso have a clean title.
