1972 Ford Mustang Additional Info:

1972 Ford Mustang Q code convertible. See Marti Report on how rare this pony is. Options include power windows, power door locks, power top, power steering, Rim blow steering wheel, and factory ordered AC! Car runs, starts right up and drives nicely, just received new synthetic Mobil 1 oil change and filter, new water pump and some hoses. Plenty of power. Brakes work but are mushy and need a bleed - car sitting for about 1 year. VIN # is 2F03Q117475. Q-Code is basically MACH 1 options - 351 CJ motor 4BBl carb. This Mustang came from factory with same power plant as MACH 1, however Ford did not call the convertibles "Mach1'.

Car has 77,600 original miles.

Car has some ford oil drips and power steering pump makes some noise upon start up in cold weather but goes away. Car has a newer exhaust, and vehicle is equipped with long tube headers.

Car had a restoration in early 90s that included a paint job and floor work. Floors and Torque boxes appear to be very solid, as is rear trunk, except tiny hole left front of trunk - see pics and video. Drivers side door is Bad on lower inside and will need replacement (my opinion). Passenger side door has rust on bottom but could prob be repaired by good metal man. Left rear quarter has rust along fender well, passenger side rear quarter has some rust but not nearly as bad. Trunk drop offs have some rust. Hood has a tiny hole on drivers side from and some bubbling on left side. Front frame rails are solid. Battery tray is rusty.

Inside car the radio is missing and the power door lock button is broken. Windows go up and down but shake a bit doing down. Power top goes up and down and lines up and latches easily. Power heater/AC fan is not currently working. Not sure if AC is working but all components are present.

So this is a great car for someone who loves mustangs and wants to restore a rare Pony as you go type of project. I am a Mustang enthusiast and have never seen a 1972 Mustang with this many factory installed options.

I recently found this car through a friend of a friend.... I purchased car from the third owner- he bought the car from his grandfather who was the second owner. Car was in family over 30 years! The latest owner unfortunately lost his garage space 2 years ago and attempted to keep it covered outside. Those 2 years led to some of the rust you see in the pictures. I’m selling it because I already have a Q Code 4 speed that I have too much into to part with, and several other mustang projects. Unfortunately we can’t keep them all.

Scammers save you energy - I do fraud investigations for a living-

Spring is coming and a convertible could be what the doctor ordered- lots of thumbs up on this car driving down Main Street!

This is one powerful running 351 CJ Mustang, has a growl and power!

SEE YOU TUBE LINKS - videos here so you can see and hear her run. You can text me with any questions or ask through ebay messanger - Compare this Mustang to other "Q CODE" Mustang Convertibles if you can find one! These cars are increasing in value - This particular Mustang is way loaded with rare Ford Factory options.
