1960 Ford Thunderbird Additional Info:

The second-generation Ford Thunderbirds are large, powerful, and absolutely distinctive. So when you can find an example that's this complete and has amplified all its best qualities and it's all quite affordable then you should take a moment to dig deeper.
This is a real-deal Diamond Blue car, and we even suspect most of the paint could be original. But the paint is not what you should be most interested in. Instead, look at how complete the car is. Those huge dipping fenders, intricate trunk panel, and 1960-exclusive three-part afterburner tail lamps are all part of unique total package. And all the important brightwork is complete and shining. From the huge front bumper with integrated grille, to the intricate dual hood ornaments, to the form-fitting rear bumper all of this makes for a complete and desirable collectible. The 18-inch Boyds wheels are just the cherry on top.
The interior was given a nice investment in a custom setup later in life. The cream leather seating with durable blue vinyl for high traffic areas is both attractive and sensible. Plus, the dash pad, door panels, center console, and headliner were also upgraded to match. And it all looks quite at home in this T-bird because they took the time to follow the original pattern. Subtle upgrades seem to be the total theme of the interior. Another example is the radio. It's such an integral part of the full presentation of the dash that it was wisely left on display. But your cruising tunes really come from a more modern AM/FM/CD tuner hidden in the glovebox. As Ford's personal luxury offering, there is plenty of individual room for four people. But even when it's just you out for a solo drive, you'll appreciate the power windows, so you can easily show off the pillarless hardtop profile without ever leaving the driver's seat.
This Thunderbird originally came with a 352 cubic-inch V8. That's a fine motor, but there's no replacement for displacement. So it's nice to have an upgraded 390. The engine bay looks like a nicely coordinated effort with the full black presentation including the air topper and new hoses that really lets the blue block radiate with power. On the road, it floats down the boulevard like a true vintage luxury coupe should. This is aided by the right features such as the three-speed automatic transmission, power brakes, and power steering.
It's a complete classic with some nice upgrades. This 1960 Ford Thunderbird is the right kind of distinction, and it's available now for a very obtainable price. Call today!!!
