1979 Ford F-150 CUSTOM Additional Info:

we just got this truck in. in the next town over there is a 67-72 chevy truck restoration business that has one of the best reputations in Texas and possibly anywhere else. they were gonna sale it for a relative so i got it before it was put out for sale. i drove it in last night and then took it out for a drive today and had a blast.so here is what i can tell you about the truck. it dont have a choke and with the cold weather here right now i pumped the gas several times hit the key and it hit but didnt start just exactly like they told me it would do. i pumped it a couple more times and it then started right up again exactly as they said it would. while i had it out today i made several stops and every time i got back in the truck it immediately started with just a touch of the key. the truck idles very smooth and runs fantastic. the transmission shifts smoothly through the gears. the truck is a factory a/c truck and everything looks to be there but there is not a belt on the a/c and they said they never hooked it up. the truck has headers and dual exhaust but it is not remotely loud at all. actually you really cant even hear it unless you step down on it. the paint and body look every bit as beautiful as the pictures but the paint is at least 10 years old. it does have some rock chips and a few scuffs, scrapes and scratches. the hood opens easy. the little box in the side of the bed opens easy. tailgate opens easy. the speedometer, odometer and all the gauges all work. the glove box light even works. i think the B.F.G's are 35 inches tall. it has dual shocks up front and steering stabilizer shock. the truck drives fantastic. the steering has a little slack when driving it but its not overly excessive. the man had a 400 built for the truck that he planned to replace the 351 with but since it never needed it he just kept it on a stand in case he needed it. i purchased it also and will take $1500 for it if the winning bidder wants it.it is located at 1602 s. market in Hearne, Texas 77859 and your more than welcome to come see what you are buying.

even with my description and pictures, if you get here and for any reason dont like this truck more than your money just leave it where it sits and owe me nothing.
no matter what might be said in any of our listings, we only take 2 PAYMENT METHODS. for those that will be picking the truck up in person you can come take all the time you need to look the truck over and if its everything you hoped it to be we ask that you pay with U.S. currency.anyone planning on buying sight unseen and having the truck shipped your ONLY PAYMENT OPTION is BANK WIRE. and we would absolutely want you to send a professional 3rd party through ebay to come fully document each and every defect the truck has so that you would know exactly what to expect from a 3rd party because when this truck leaves here it will belong to the new owner.
PAYMENT DUE IN FULL WITHIN 7 DAYS AFTER THE AUCTION ENDS! because we are a Texas dealer our residents must pay tax, title and license. because we sale everything on ebay at a real no reserve auction they dont all make a profit but the bills still have to be paid here so in addition to the final bid price we charge an additional $250 documentary fee. this will include a temp tag to get you home.
