1974 Ford Other Runabout Additional Info:

Up for auction is a very solid, original, unmolested, 1974 Pinto Runabout. The car is 2.3L backed by a C3 Automatic. CAR RUNS, DRIVES, STOPS GREAT! All of the glass is good, the electrical system is sound and charges great. All of the lights, inside and out, work. Original interior is solid, and complete but in need of restoration. I does not have any carpet. New tires, brakes, header, and exhaust. I drove it from Memphis TN, to Northern KS, in August with the AC blowing the whole way! I was going to make it into a drag car and its just too nice to butcher. With the exception of the drivers floor board, due to leaky windshield, the car absolutely rust free. Original paint looks super cool with some goofy 70's accents. Could easily be a daily driver. The defroster blows a bit of coolant vapor, it isn't visibly leaking but I suspect it to be an internal heater core seep, that doesn't affect drivability.
This would be a great school car, restoration, Nostalgia Pro Stock starting point, drag car, or whatever. its the nicest original pinto I've seen in years. Bid with confidence.. My feedback speaks for itself. Very low reserve..
