1965 Ford Falcon Additional Info:

1965 Ford Falcon Sprint Pro Street/Drag Car. RARE CAR. Only 2,806 hard tops made in 1965. No documentation but former owner (second owner since 1982) claims it is a Sachs and Sons car. Originally a 289 factory 4-speed before Sachs and Sons put a 427 Big Block in it. In 2013 car was revised with a Big Daddy coil over front end with rack and pinion steering, 2 A-arms. Car has a 9-inch Moser rear-end and a C-6 automatic transmission with a Hurst Quarter Stick Shifter. All revision work was complete by 2015.
THE ENGINE: Engine has a 347 cubic inch stroked 302 and is a full roller motor. All forged internals, GT-40 heads, full-length headers with collectors, 3.5 inch exhaust, Flowmaster mufflers, gear driven timing, MSD ignition system, electric fans, Quick Fuel Technologies carburetor, 350 HP shot of nitrous oxide. Engine capable of 7,500 RPMs (I have never revved it past 5,000).
STREET OR TRACK READY: Street legal, currently registered and insured. 15" drag radials. Car is ready to pass tech inspection for drag racing.
BODY: Original paint and has had a few touch ups. Great 10-footer. Rust-free body. Minimal paint cracking and chipping. Roll cage updated in 2014 with chromoly. Professionally built custom dashboard with all auto-meter gauges. New wiring harness. Unknown original miles since car has speedometer updated/replaced. Approximately 1700 trouble-free miles since drive line was replaced.
OTHER SPECS:Car drives and stops straight. Converted to disc brakes. Runs beautifully and does not overheat. Leather, reclining, wraparound, race seats with 5-point harnesses.
