1973 Ford Mustang Convertible Additional Info:

1973 Mustang Convertible

Stored in an Oregon garage for the last 20 years, this Mustang Convertible is a beautiful 75,000 miles survivor with recent service to make it roadworthy. the original stout-hearted 351Cleveland 2bbl and C4 automatic, the car runs smoothly and solidly and looks great in its refinished factory color of Bright Red with a new black power top. The black interior is original and still in great shape, as is the engine bay, which could profit from a professional detailing but remains unmolested. It even appears to still retain its factory single exhaust set-up.The last local owners of this Mustang purchased it in 1988 at 70,000 and drove it sparingly over the last 31 years.

This car is and always has been entirely rust-free and its factory options include air conditioning that blows cold, a power top, tilt wheel, am/fm tape player, tachometer, dual mirrors with a driver’s side remote, and Ford factory chrome wheels mounted on new 235-70-14 BF Goodrich Radial T/As. It comes with a clear Oregon title with a past bill of sale and odometer mileage statement as documentation. Of the service receipts, only the most recent one has been retained, but it bears a long list of work recently performed: The gas tank was replaced, along with a new fuel sending unit, and the car received a full tune-up with new spark plugs, distributor cap, rotor, condenser, points and pcv valve, a new water pump, thermostat, upper and lower radiator hoses, new belts, new battery, an oil change and a gas cap. Even more recently, unreceipted work includes a new brake booster, a new master cylinder and a rebuilt 2 bbl carburetor.

The list of things that need attention is short. The blinkers work but the indicator lights on the dash are out, otherwise, all other gauges are operating. The driver’s side seat back latch appears to be broken or loose, and the knob on the power top switch is missing, though the switch can still be activated. Otherwise, there are no other known issues and this handsome 73 Mustang is ready to drop the top and head down the highway. Buy it Now at $19,000, or next closest offer.
