1951 Ford Other Additional Info:

I have owned this truck for 26 years. It was professionally restored about six years ago. It is not a show truck, but could be with a little more work. It has current registration and is a nice solid dependable vehicle. The undercarriage has been cleaned and painted-- there are no rust holes. All the glass and seals have been replaced and new mechanicals have been installed to raise/lower side windows. The electrical system has been upgraded to 12 volts and the engine is a 350 Chevelle motor, with a Melling high volume oil pump. The custom made metal bed has a new oak floor, with SS strips. The gas tank has been removed from the cab and mounted under the rear frame and a custom gas tank door was molded into the rear sheet metal (see photos). New Coker wheels and tires were installed six months ago. The windshield visor and running boards are custom pieces made for this truck. The same is true for the rear body__ sheet metal, tail lights, bed sides, rails and license plate bracket. The interior has been painted with new custom gauges, steering wheel and carpet. The engine compartment has been cleaned and painted and a cover was fabricated for the radiator.
