1992 Ford Mustang LT Package Additional Info:

To:youDetailsOriginal Condition FOX BODY MustangThis is the perfect car for someone not having to do restoration to have a very nice great running Classic Fox Body MustangI purchased this from the original owner a few years back He was a retired Navy Career Veteran who purchased the car new in Maryland then was stationed in San Diego where the car spent most of it's life before retiring to Florida.
He gave me all receipts for maintenance which were quite impressive. for a car this age.
He had just replaced the Convertable top at a Ford Dealership for over $1500! but it needed a little attention and I got a decent deal on it. All the other Mustangs I saw were either Converted dragstrip cars, all beat to snot cars or completely ragged out hulls or 4 cyl cars with auto transmissions....
This was actually more of a car than I was looking for because my original plan was to completely restore one until I lucked out and found this completely straight accident free solid Mustang so I instead stuck the money into this to enjoy it for what it is....
It has all original exterior in decent condition as it was either garaged or car ported all its life. the clearcoat on the original paint is worn through in a couple spots but not a big deal if you keep it clean and waxed as I do.
The Body is perfectly straight and no rust. In the Photos you will see the "ZIEBART" plugs where the car was totally covered with undercoating inside the body panels and the entire body underside. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO RUST IN THE BODY OR UNDERSIDE! There is a couple scratches around the trunk lock and a small spot under the edge of one of the trunk rack strips (photos available on request).
The AC needs recharge and the radio was never reconnected after the carpet replacement but works.
This cars original specs are 5.0 V-8 (see Build Sheet in Photos)
5 Speed Manual Transmission
Power everything including adjustable lumbar support and every imaginable "LT" option available at the time.
Since I purchased it I have done a ton of tidying up and refurbish work including:
New Exact Stock front Leather seats I found in storage in Georgia.
New carpet (highest quality aftermarket with felt back)
New window guides and door hinges (doors open and close like new and no rattles).
New weatherstripping on doors windows (have the sill gaskets but haven't installed)
New heater core, Water Pump, Thermostat, Belts, and belt tensioner
New fuel injectors and new ignition tuneup parts.
GT40 aluminum heads
Eddlebrock clone Intake system
K&N Snorkel and air Filter
70mm Throttle body
New Motorcraft 10.5" Clutch Pressure Plate Throwout and Pilot bearing
New U-Joints
New tubular Stabilizers rear with urethane bushings.
New KONI Shocks Struts and Stabilizers
New Stainless steel headers and exhaust system with Cat converters.
New Bridgestone POTENZA Tires 2500 miles ago.
New authentic Headlights (not the Chinese knock offs)
Various interior bezels and knobs etc. and I'm sure a bunch of stuff I forgot to mention.
Overall an honest Great running daily driver that gets 17-24 Miles per Gal, is a complete joy to drive and handles like a new car with the new suspension mods and new tires. It goes like snot when you get into it and the motor makes pure MUSIC when you are driving it.
The overdrive fifth gear gives to excellet gearing for the superslab and the motor uses no oil as it was loved and cared for by the previous owner including me. I always ran Synthetic 20-50w.
Transmission and rear end were changed over to syn Lubes when I got it...When I purchased the car the clearcoat was lifting on the drivers side and a few spots on the car. I opted not to do a repaint because of the overall condition of the original paint. I opted to have those areas clearcoated. You will see the spots where the clearcoat was lifting. Still very presentable.
I will take you for a ride but not letting anyone behind the wheel as you can get into trouble quickly with the short wheelbase and the power...SORRY...
Leave a message as my phone is forwarded to my business number but I get all my texts.
