Up for auction a 1966 289 Mustang Convertible
This driver-quality car was purchased by the current owner at action in September 1999.
It's a beautiful red convertible, with black interior and white top.
At the time of purchase, it was in good, restore condition, and has needed very little additional restoration work.
Note: Due to the restoration work performed before the seller owned the car, the VIN on the body & title match each other, but do not match the body style & engine type of the car.
Though the odometer currently reads 17,252, the actual mile on the car and engine are not known.
As the photos show, this is a V8, 289 CDI with a 4-barrel carburetor.
The top, body, interior, engine compartment, trunk and under carriage are in good condition. This car has been garaged since purchase and has been driven only occasionally, mostly for shows, competitions, parades and other events.
The current owner is no longer able to drive and with great misgivings, is offering for sale.
