I'm selling this '37 Ford 2 door slantback sedan due to financial considerations. It is nearly complete except for some interior and electrical work. The engine is a 351 Windsor that has less than 200 miles on it, and was broken in using a zinc additive to the oil. The tires are new 205/70 R15 fronts and 225/75 R15 rears. Need more info: call Dave at (319)759-9913 before 10:00 PM CDT. No solicitations or trades will be accepted. ENGINE: The block was cleaned using a thermal cleaning system, cylinders bored out .030. New main, rod and cam bearings were installed. New CompCam and flat tappet lifters. New double row timing chain, guide plates and push rods. Has 1 piece rear seal. The cylinder heads are 1969 C90E with new stainless valves, retainers, soft plugs and hardened valve seats. They have been decked .005" and have 3/8" screw-in rocker studs. Intake and exhaust have been port matched. The exhaust thermactor bumps have been removed. Intake and exhaust bowls have been enlarged. Valve springs are 110 lbs. on the seat. Has new Edelbrock 1406 carb set on an Edelbrock Performer RPM intake manifold. Distributor is a new Mallory magnetic breakerless, Has a new Tuff Stuff 70 amp one wire alternator. New Ford Racing water pump. DRIVELINE: New TCI-511200 Street Fighter C4 transmission. TCI-450738 performance torque converter. New Lokar floor shifter. 9" Ford differential with Traction Lok and 3:00 to 1 ring and pinion. Chassis Engineering rear springs and mounting kit. Rear sway bar. BODY;All steel. Professionaly redone using very little filler. The only real problem was the tool box area in the trunk. This was redone using a EMS kit. Doors, trunk and hood align well and fenders and body have been undercoated. Running boards have new rubber covers. The body overall is very good, the paint is fair. Has new 5" recessed firewall. Good engine side panels with stainless trim are included.CHASSIS; Solid stock frame with bolt-in Chassis Engineering front crossmember and complete IFS components package. Includes tubular A-Arms, strut rods, spindles, calipers, rotors, coil springs, tie rod ends and shocks. Has dual reservoir master cylinder with power brake booster. Has 2" lowering blocks in rear. INTERIOR; Needs to be completed. Has a new headliner installed and material to complete overhead panel and door panels is included. Has 12 circuit Speedway wiring harness, new Omega instruments and a new Boss radio with C/D player. Front and rear seats are from a '40 Ford sedan and were redone sometime ago and are in good shape.
