NOT FIBERGLAS!
This is a real "No Expenses Spared" Build! Shown with the full height windshield but 2" chop windshield IS INCLUDED!
This car started with a brand new ALL STEEL Brookville Roadster body, mounted on a steel TCI chassis. The motor is a brand new Ford Racing 302 ALuminum Head small block- producing roughly 450 Horsepower. A C4 transmission is mated to a 9" rear end with 331 gears. The cool lakester style American Rebel wheels have brand new rubber on them. The car is running a set of glass fender right now which I think look cool.
The car is finished in a really well done candy apple red metallic. The great Ron Mangus did the interior and truk- a nice chocolate brown carpet with real leather on the doors, seat and trunk lining. The seat is a brand new flip-up glide seat. There's a great set of brand new Socal gauges on a machined aluminum '32 gauge panel. A Lokar shifter is topped with a Socal cue ball shifter.
This car is a BEAST of a driver. The new Ford motor is now fully broken in, fires up first turn of the key and settles into a sweet rumble of an idle. It pulls like a Jet and settles down into a nice purr on the highway. The disk brakes will put you through the windshield! No need to have weak brakes on a hotrod! Even nicer is the fully functional Vintage heat and air! Right now the car has no top fitted but on hot days it's nice having that cool breeze on your face.
My plan was to remove the fenders and run the car a traditional highboy, so a full set of correct steelies is included, painted tan to match the interior. I also have a complete Kwiktop frame which I will include- ready for your upholsterer to add the front bow and wrap in your choice of canvas.
While I do not have receipts for the build, this was done just a few years ago in Southern California and I cannot imagine how you could produce a car of this caliber for under $80,000. It is just as clean underneath as on top, and every inch OOZES quality- from the leather Mangus interior to the fully lined trunk to the detailed engine compartment.
Right now it is running a full sized windshield because I am a TALL guy, but I also will include a 2" chop windshield AND the stanchions, all in like new condition.
While this is a reserve auction I have set a very fair reserve- TENS of thousands below it's real value.
