1932 Ford Hi Boy Roadster Additional Info:

You are bidding on a killer 1932 Ford Hi Boy Roadster! This car has been through a high quality build, utilizing high quality componentry. The frame and underpinnings are all new, and completely color-matched to the body. The base coat clear coat paint is Black Cherry Metallic and it is superslick, and very well done. The body and frame both appear to be Downs-built pieces. There is great fitment throughout all panels, deck lid, doors! New four wheel disc brakes, new stainless steel exhaust, new high quality Heidt coil-over components front and rear, new power rack and pinion/steering components, new brake lines, and fuel lines have all been installed. High quality, high dollar Billett Specialties aluminum wheels and BFG radial tires have been installed front and rear to give it an incredible look!
This Ford Hi Boy is equipped with a fuel-injected late model Dodge 5.7 liter Hemi engine and matching automatic transmission, with full computer controls installed. The engine is strong and the car runs and drives out great! The rear end is a reworked Ford 8.8 housing. With the lightweight nature of this street rod, the Hemi drivetrain makes this a blast to drive! The mileage on the drivetrain that it was removed from was approximately 4000 miles and it has been driven approximately 4500 miles since completion. All normal bugs after building a car have been worked out, and the car operates flawlessly, starting with one bump of the key every single time!
The interior features six-way power adjustable tan leather seats, (that are actually quite comfortable!) and a billet aluminum tilt steering column with polished billet banjo wheel. The only thing I would suggest finishing for show-purposes would be the trunk area, which could be carpeted to give a finished look. Beyond that, I do not know what else you could possibly do to make this a nicer car than it already is!
I can send more pictures of any view you would like to see, and I can also do a video of it starting up/running too.
If you are looking for a super nice Ford Hi Boy you can drive, enjoy, and show anywhere, here's a great opportunity for much less than the cost of replication!
It has a clear Ohio title, and unlike many, this Hi Boy is period correct titled as a "1932 Ford 2DR Roadster."
