Vehicle Overview Some backgroundon this beautiful 1966 FordMustang 289Convertible: Theowner of this 1966 Mustang bought it for his son in 1986 and had it restored during the years of 1988 and 1989 to be ready for his16thbirthday. His son drove it for one year and decided he wanted something much newer and sportier. The owner has had the car garaged since that time but continued to ad options and make any necessary repairs as well as drive on a somewhat regular basis. The car has an original rally pack and the original Ford air conditioning which is incredibly rare and impossible to find today. Most every inch of the car has been rebuilt over time. The previous ownerbelievesthat the engine might have 10,000 miles on it since the rebuild. The owner's goal was to keep the car as original as possible but did convert it to a four barrel during the rebuild. The original two barrel carburetor and parts were kept and come with the car. It also has duel exhaust which the original did not. The tires have virtually no miles on them but may need replacement due to age. The car has been in the last owners possession for 31 years.
