Need to move this car to complete another project so you get a great deal. The tight and smooth extra gear "5"-Speed Tranny lets the 289 engine pull hard through the gears and the 5 speed allows the car to cruise down the freeway with lessRPMallowing it tocruise nicely and get great gas mileage. This car starts on a dime, runs and idles nicely, the suspension is tight and is one of the smoothest running classic vehicles I have ever driven. The car hasa great exhaust system and makes that healthy V-8 rumbler sound. The engine had been reported to be rebuilt recently and does not smoke at start or while running (EMAIL for running video of engine). A stronger than stock cam was installed as the car has a nice light lope sound to it. The paint on the car was red and was stripped to start a restoration. After the paint was removed the body was pretty clean with minimal dents or damage and no rust. Most of the small dents were already addressed and 3 coats of Primer were sprayed. Almost all of the cars like this we have dealt with had rust, however this car does not have a spec of rust anywhere that we can see. The floor pans are original and in great condition. All the parts to include valence, headlight pods, tailight pods, lights, bumpers and accessories are all there and come with the car. All are in pretty good driver condition, however we were going to replace all the chrome parts for this build. The interior is driver quality but all the parts are there including all the door panels and rear panels. Console is in good condition and all the pony dash parts are still in the car as well as the stock radio.The interior is is red in color and all parts that have been removed come with the car. The top is a ELECTRIC top works perfectly up and down, top fabric needs replacing. It tucks in the back when down very nicely. Someone is going to get a beautiful start of a builder with much of the work already done.
If you look closely at this car, you will buy it. Prior to taking the car apart, it was a winner in stock mustang classes many times over. Everywhere it was driven or at shows, it was highly photographed. Show stopper, Folks wave and thumbs up everywhere when you are out cruising. Don't miss out, this car will be sold.
