1968 Ford Mustang Couple- Project Car, Restoration Started Prior to me Purchasing. I bought locally in a set of 2 someone was selling just because I'm a vintage mustang addict. VIN#8T01C166925- Title In Hand!Now you know as much about the car as I do, I'm just unloading all my projects that I haven't touched in the last few years to thin out the herd ...and to keep my marital status ... as is!
Since I still have a 66 GT350 clone/ 74 spitfire / 68 Bronco ...and a few others ... its just time to unload the ones I'm not ever going to get the time to do anything with.
I bought this car with another 68 coupe I will also be listing on here shortly, and a pile of extra parts and such will go with this one to clear out my garage/storage areas. What you see in pics is what it is, otherwise I know nothing about history or anything ... did find some receipts (included pic of the one that appears to be significant motor work in 2009) otherwise ... sold as is...where is...what is. I'll answer whatever questions I can and happy to send 100 or so photos to bidders on request as can only include 24 here.
I included a buy it now in case anyone just wants to buy it ... but again it's a no reserve auction so any bid it receives will result in the vehicle being sold ... at whatever price the auction ends at. Just included a buy-it-now to avoid the 50 repetitive questions from people asking me for a buy it now price :)

I was trying to decode the door tag, but they aren't always in the same order so although I got most of it below, not sure about all of it just yet. Will update once I get Marti Report back:

(Early 68 mustangs had 289's instead of 302's and often had some of the 67 codes/options ..my experience this is true of mustangs built in January or February of 68, as was my very first mustang I ever owned ...it as an early build with 289, etc so the door tag on it was confusing also :)
22.79 Axle - Guessing that is this "2" meaning
32Cleveland DSO - Again not in the order I expected, but only '32' I can find in the decoder
Transmission is one I am missing, and maybe it's that last letter (but there is no H Trans code, so maybe not an H..that one is hard to clearly read on door tag pic).
