Throaty, flathead V-8 AB engine. Completely rebuilt and restored by Motorcity Flathead. This engine is a 1947 of the exact same model as the 1935. The difference between 1935 flathead and a 1947 flathead are extremely minimal. This auto has taken many first place awards in the “original” category. See photo of just a portion of the trophies this car has won...AND IT WAS DRIVEN TO EVERY ONE! Notice the detail and finish on this motor. Purrs like a kitten and runs like a dream. Idles so smooth it is hard to tell it is running.

3-speed manual transmission. 84,XXX miles when restoration was completed. The odometer currently reads 7,372. Hence there is approximately 23K miles since the restoration. Perfect window glass. No imperfections/scratches/cracks of any kind. All windows go up and down with ease. Rear window rolls down. Windshield cranks out. The interior is elegant dark gray. Matching gray gloss dash. The seat back raises up to reveal storage that goes back to the trunk with only a carpeted curtain divider secured by Velcro, see photo. This is an original feature. Undercarriage is extremely clean. See photos for details.

Upgrades/Alterations: As mentioned, the engine is a 1947 of the same original 59AB 1935 motor. Hydraulic brakes have been installed. The top/roof was filled in years ago - no sign the opening was ever there. Front and rear running lights were added for additional detail. The original horns were moved into the engine compartment. An electric fuel pump was added with toggle switch under the dash. Additional temperature gauges have been added under the dash as well. Two indicator lights for directional signals are on the dash. Park lights/emergency flashers switch and indicator lights are added under the dash as well. Included is a Custom-fit California Car Cover in excellent shape without tears, rips, or stains.

WHY TWO TEMPERATURE GAUGES??? The man that built this car was 80 years old when I bought the car. He was very smart and meticulious about everything. He struck me as genius. The details and the quality of the workmanship in this car are numerous. It was his dream car and he owned and restored it over a period of 30 years and as it was his only classic he was constantly improving it to what he wanted. Heused two totally independent temperature gauges for more accurate readings. This way you can monitor each bank of cylinders, isolate what bank has a problem, and catch a problem before it becomes major. If left unit (on original set-up) quits, you got nothing.

Note: As far as I am aware, except where mentioned, everything on this vehicle is functional. I have represented the description of this vehicle to the best of my ability. Car is sold AS-IS, Where-Is, with no warranties. Inspections welcomed and encouraged with short notice. Title is clear Texas in my name and in my hand.
