1977 E-250 4x4 Ford Ambulance Van

1977 Ford E-Series Van Additional Info:

1977 E-250 4x4 Modular Corporation Ambulance Conversion., 4x4 Conversion by 4 Wheel Drive Engineering in 7/1978. 460, auto. Carburetor not EFI, Starts right up, runs and drives smooth, 4x4 not thoroughly mountain trail and mud tested, but driven locally on gravel roads, it operates smoothly and correctly. I love this van and would like to keep it but it does not fit my needs. See the photos, there are spots of rust that have eaten through in some places but no major structural damage noticed. The windshield is cracked but does not effect vision. The brakes function well with no metal to metal sounds when applied, but do take some pressure to stop, I would suggest a little attention to them. Excellent all terrain tires, all matching and it even has the original hubcaps. Odometer reads 00413, has just turned over and would bet it is the first time through, this van is 40 years old and still drives like a 25 year old. I know there are plenty of folks looking for these vans and I have seen them going for a lot more than my starting bid price. I can answer any questions, and, or provide additional photos for prospective buyers. My ad reads "For pick up, or arrange for pick up/ shipping", but I would be up for a road trip to deliver if you cover expenses (provided it fits my schedule) and my return trip, I would not hesitate to drive this van cross country in it's present condition,.
