1971 Ford F-100 Additional Info:
This is a 1971 Ford F-100 Sport Custom Pickup Truck. I bought this truck from the second owner and have been using it as my daily driver the past 8 months. It is a nice reliable truck ready to drive as is or restore. The previous owner had for over 20 years and always had it licensed, insured and maintained. The original 360 was replaced with a rebuilt 390 and the transmission has also been rebuilt, not sure of the mileage since rebuild but the motor is still very strong and the transmission shifts tight. Ignition has been upgraded from the original points to a solid state unit. The previous owner was a career mechanic who owned his own shop and used this as his daily driver until he retired. The paint looks original with no signs of repairs or repaints, see pictures. The body is nice and straight with no rust out or major damage. There are some dings on the moldings from use and one notable dent on the corner of the hood, see pictures. The seat has been recovered, the dashpad and steering wheel have some cracks. Equiped with Westcoast Junior rearview towing mirrors. Original owners manual and warranty plate is in the glovebox. This truck runs and drives down the road very nicely, has power steering and brakes. It's a very well preserved truck, hard to believe it's 45 years old given it's condition, even the original Philco AM radio still works. I'm only offering this truck for sale becuase I have a F-250 project I'm working on and don't have the space to keep everything. Thanks for looking and bid to win.
