1971 Ford Ranchero Base Additional Info:

1971 Ford Ranchero Runs and Drives

The Car has sat under my carport for approximately 7 years. On 4/22/17 I Changed all Fluids, Filters, Fuel, Plugs and gaskets.

The car has ?34329 miles on the dash. It was rebuilt at approximately ?23,000

The car has the original 302cid block, headsand transmission. It has had many upgrades along the way but again has sat for many years so while it runs and drives I cannot guarantee anything obviously so the car will be sold AS IS.

Tires and wheels were brand new when parked.

Upgrades include:

Engine 302

  • Crank was turned
  • All new bearings
  • Keith Black pistons/rods
  • Comp Cam XE .500/.262 (sounds great)
  • Original Heads professionally worked
  • Edelbrock performer intake
  • Edelbrock 650cfm carb
  • Full length headers
  • Jegs all aluminum radiator

Transmission: C4

  • Professionally rebuilt
  • B&M Shift Kit
  • 2200 Stall converter
  • All aluminum trans cooler

Rear end: Ford 9

  • Ford 9 out of a Lincoln
  • Disk Brakes
  • Air shocks
  • 4" Shackles

Recently Added/Repaired:

  • Battery
  • Fuel Pump
  • Flushed Fuel
  • Trans Filter, fluid, gasket (B&M Trick shift)
  • Oil filter, oil (Valvoline VR1 20-50)
  • Intake gasket
  • Carb Gasket
  • Fuel Filter
  • Carb was removed before storage so it is clean and runs great.
  • Air filter

As previously stated the car has sat for many years so I don't have a lot of information but what I have noticed so far that the car still needs/replaced

  • No headliner
  • Small tear in seat
  • Carpet faded in spots
  • Natural paint fade
  • Surface rust only on body
  • Small rust area on battery apron (in engine compartment)
  • Needs master cylinder (works but leaks)

On May-12-17 at 17:23:08 PDT, seller added the following information:

I have found the original Breather with original 302 sticker, hubcaps, and the grille ( still mounts and in decent shape, one broken bracket and a few cracks). This is also an AC car but the compressor has been removed. The heater core and all plumbing are still on the car.
