1982 Ford Mustang GT Additional Info:

Rare 1982 GT. First year the 302 H.O. Returned. I think it was one of the best looking engine/air cleaner combos the Fox Body ever had. This is the most rust free 82 GT you are going to find on the East Coast. Low Mile, no body repairs needed for restoration. Bought from California and Shipped to PA. Now has a Clean and Clear PA title in my name. Title shows CA is previous state, and title is branded as a True 65,000 low mile car. I'm selling it as a project. But lots of money was already put into it. Was going in the "track day" direction. Heat and A/C removed. Radio and heat controls removed. The interior was really sun faded/bleached, lots of the plastic was brittle from the sun, so after the car was gutted for a restoration, it was abandoned. It sounded like a good idea to put some race seats in and go with the stripped interior look. Although I may be able to get ahold of the seats (Gave them away). Body has plenty of small dents, dings, and scratches, so it is far from paint ready. Floors are perfect, not a spot of rust. It has the original numbers matching engine and trans. Seats are Corbeau Racing Seats, but a perfect fit for the car. Steering wheel is a Grant GT, looks great. Speedometer, Headlights, Blinkers, Tail lights, gauges are all working as they should. New Battery, Alternator, power steering pump, serpentine belt, spark plugs, wires, brake booster, fuel pump, fuel filter, fresh oil, fresh tranny fluild, New clutch, pressure plate, throw-out and pilot bearings, reconditioned Flywheel. Front bumper is aftermarket, and just sitting on car. It needs mounted/fitted. Original is in very poor condition. I'll answer any questions you have. Nothing to hide. Car starts, stops, moves under its own power. It hasn't been on the road since 1998 though. Needs a good inspection and brakes checked before driving. All of the smog equipment was removed, and I think there must be a vacuum leak because it loses power very easy. Engine is tight, good compression, and quiet. No smoke or noises. Tranny shifts fine. Carburetor is out of the box new motorcraft. If you are the other guy on the East coast that wanted a 1982 GT, lets talk. Factory color and lots of factory paint still exists, but it was sprayed the correct color at some point. It does shine up nice when waxed.

Yes, you can come see the car in person. Won't be disappointed. Its garage kept and has been for the last 15 years. It does need a front windshield, i forgot to mention, but you can see it is cracked in the pictures. As for Reserve, it is fair. What I paid for the car. I think it is reasonable for a rare car and super clean body. And I have thousands of dollars in parts that I'm not trying to recover cost from. I'm just trying to get back the cost of the car, plus shipping from California. The seats, clutch, carb, bumper are all pricey new items totaling over $1,500. Not to mention all of the little things add up to hundreds of dollars more. For the body, it truly doesn't need any major work. But it does have dents and dings. Its a 15 footer for sure. I don't want to make it sound bad, because I was very pleased when I found it. But honestly looks better in the pictures than in person. Don't want to mislead anyone into thinking its a show car body, but very very solid.
