1991 mustang ssp no reserve

1991 Ford Mustang SSP Additional Info:

this is a very nice low mileage Mustang LX with the SSP package. the car was used by the Santa Clara california District attorneys office for their undercover investigators....mostly as a spare.... unit number 91054.... that is the reason for the low mileage when sold by the state in 2006. mileage at that time was approximately 42000 miles. the car was purchased by a gentleman in canada who had a bare metal respray as well as refurbishing the interior with nos seating materials, etc. i do have two large binders with pictures and details of the work he had done at that time. the car was unmarked and thus no extra opening were cut into the body for for lights, antennas, etc. the car does have a red and blue light on the rear package shelf and a magnet light base for a red light behind the passenger side sun visor. the car has a siren and squawker speaker in place as well. as the wig wag light system. these systems are inoperable but can be easily brought back to use for shows or personal display!!! there is a non-working radio head below the regular am-fm radio. the wiring for the radio system is still in place to the trunk and is hidden beneath the carpet...the car is in very good condition and runs and drives extremely well. tires are goodrich t/a radials with the white lettering turned to the inside. i bought a set of refinished ten hole wheels for the car and had them installed on the car. the ac works well and the heater core does not leak. the passenger door electric lock will not lock. there is a small amount of paint spidering on the drivers side bumper cover just below the headlight. the car has recently been cleaned and waxed. i took a dry cloth and wiped off the engine compartment so there is no artificial shine from silicone or other make it look good products. all the interior vinyl is as is and i have not used any type of vinyl preservative or wax on the dash or console areas. the carpet is very good and the car has nos front floor mats. i also replaced the drivers side safety belt with a nos belt......if you have questions please use the ebay question feature. current odometer reading is 68081 miles and is correct for the car. when the car was sold to the canadian owner, the mileage was listed as 91054.....in error! that was the UNIT NUMBER assigned to the car while in service in california. this unit number is attached to the windshield very near the vin number and was mistakenly used as an indication of mileage when the vehicle was sold at auction in california. also in the pictures you will see the original keys with the brass UN IT NUMBERS TAGS.. note that when the car was first registered in canada the correct original mileage on the odometer was converted to 67690 kilometers which happens ro be 42060 miles in the US. when i registered the car in sc, the dmv picked up previous error number from past records. i had no idea of how to get this error corrected so in order to register so i stated on the title application that there was an error in the odometer reading....which was not the case!!! also when sold in the united states in ohio the dmv there also noted the possible odometer error. there is no problem with the title only the carfax noting the error.if you need further clarification please indicate and i can send my phone number to try and answer all questions. i thought the starting price with no reserve was fair in my first listing but obviously the car did not sell. 100 watchers and no takers so i will start lower. you will have a hard time finding a nicer ssp with such low mileage and overall excellent condition!!!
