As the company’s final Henry Ford –fueled innovation, the Ford V8 remains a durable, torque-rich power-plant that, thanks to solid engineering, has established an unmatched reputation in the classic and custom car community. And, in keeping with tradition, this stellar Ford 5-window is powered by a correct flathead V8 that, thanks to relatively tame 6.12 to 1 compression, makes roughly 90 horsepower on a 112 in. wheelbase. The engine has been rebuilt, and probably is better today than when it climbed off the assembly line. Take one look under the hood and you’ll be impressed.

The car’s clean floors, heavy duty frame and factory-accurate suspension are an added benefit.
