1989 Ford E-Series Van Additional Info:

88K on a 7.3 diesel that runs great and stops as well as anything on the road. I bought it for camping and took a 1500 mile trip with it last fall and it drove flawlessly. The only problem I had was leaving the fuel cap at a gas station. Michelin tires on front and Goodyears on the rear duallys, all excellent. Windows are manual, work fine, but air does not work and the radio display is out. Fuel gauge quit on my trip so you'd have to keep track of mileage between fill-ups. I was getting 13.5 MPG. I believe everything else works. Paint has the usual chips and scratches but rust is very minimal. It came from the Philadelphia area and as an ambulance, of course, it would be kept inside and well maintained. Also, it has a new class 3 tow hitch installed by the previous owner, never been used. I've only driven it about 2,000 miles since the last inspection so it should be ready to go. The seat does not move back far enough for long legs so I started disassembling the first cabinet behind the driver's seat to move the seat back. No easy task, heavy duty plywood and hardware in the way. I left the parts off for the next owner to decide what to do with it. Excellent vehicle for camping, construction, racing, or just hauling junk. Comes with power converter (110V to 12V) and inverter (12V to 110V) with external power cord connector and dual deep cycle batteries. As-is of course, and your e-mail will get you my phone number. It is for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction early. It is registered and insured so you are welcome to check it out and drive it before bidding. Thanks for looking!! ***This is a rear wheel drive vehicle and the conversion is by Life Line of Sumner, Iowa***
