1972 Ford Ranchero Additional Info:

COBRA JET Q SERIAL NUMBER 351C 4V--serial #2a48q196029-A Georgia car since new but Has a little rust in floor board and here and there but basicly super solid with no body damage and is a rare {very low production of 23,431 were made} year model with all MATCHING numbers. Original color was a metallic bronze as you can see in the bed where the yellow paint has flaked off and exposed the original bronze color paint.
There are several pictures of the car sitting there in the old 8 car port with the dust of years on it. If you wanted to use it as it is as a driver the yellow paint is good mostly and can be touched up to look nice with a very satisfactory appearance. It has had the following installed; New plugs, points, condenser plus fresh professional carburetor rebuild $155. . The carburetor is a Motorcraft 4300d which is the original type. Also installed a new fuel pump as well as new alternator, starter and battery. Also brakes with new flexible brake line on front.. The fuel tank was drained and cleaned. All lights were checked and replaced in needed and all signals and exterior lights are working as intended. The tires look ok but after sitting in the same spot for 5 years i would put on a new set of tires but she runs fine except has a sticky valve lifter. It drives good now and would make a great driver to be fully restored later.Sweet!! C6 transmission rebuilt less than 500 miles ago and shifts perfectly and if you hold the pedal down it barks the tires when it goes into second and if you keep the pedal down will do it again going in 3rd. Good solid great sounding dual exaust system with flow master mufflers. Sounds great! Note the picture of the tail pipe, clean as a pin. Not an oil burner and also we gave it fresh oil change and filter. {Former Owner owed large transmission shop for past 40 years and bought this vehicle to totally restore for his grandson but illess led to loss of interest and car had just been sitting for about the past 5 years. 351 CI 4v Cobra Jet {rare} Q engine. Full delux instrument panel with tack, number gauges and clock, original radio, air conditioning vents and controls. The a/c compressor i has been removed but all other parts for a/c are intact. etc,as indicated by the q in serial number. GRAN TURISIMO Touring {GT} 500. Make offer if you like, have the cash and want to buy.} Price is pretty close to firm but willing to hear any reasonable offer!
