1953 Ford F-100 Additional Info:

Simply the Best! First glance at this elegant 1953 F-100 Resto Mod pickup truck will tell you that it is something special. First thing you notice is the stance....which is perfect!
Next is the beautifully applied and chosen Porsche Achatgrau Metallic paint that just flows all over the trucks curvy body and continues into the engine compartment, including the intake manifold, engine block and oil pan.
The third thing you will notice is the CHROME! A mile deep reflection of the front grille, bumpers, door handles, tailgate chains and wheels. There may not be any better combination than this paint offset by professionally done high quality gleaming CHROME.
You can't wait any longer and MUST open the drivers door, noticing the great fit and finish massaged into this almost 65 year old rendition of American steel. The brand new and exquisite stitched leather interior retains it's original layout but certainly sits, rides and FEELS like a new truck. Climb in and grip the leather wrapped 3 spoke banjo string steering wheel, adjust the tilt from the Flaming River chrome steering column, plant your feet on the clutch pedal and your hand on the Hurst shift knob that sits at just the right spot. Reach forward and twist the original style Ford key switch.....the high torque mini starter spins just a few revolutions before the fresh 454 engine ROARS to life and settles to a nice lumpy idle. Once warmed up, this aluminum headed, carbureted, hydraulic roller camshaft motor just gives you that solid lumpy yet driveable idle song that is recognizable by anyone with interest in the internal combustion engine. "Snick" the shifter into 1st gear and let out on the chrome floor pivot clutch pedal and we are off to anywhere you would want to drive this truck. I literally would not be afraid to jump in this beautiful piece and drive it to either coast.
Now that we have established the quality of this truck in your mind, let me tell you about the features and attributes of this phenomenal build.
