1985 Ford Mustang Convertible Additional Info:

Runs and drives but needs finishing. Needs a lot of little things. Has Weiand intake manifold, holley 670cfm carburetor, MSD 6AL ignition box, MSD coil, MSD distributor, equal length headers, off road h-pipe, flow master exhaust with polished stainless tailpipes, cobra clutch, aluminium flywheel, pro 5-0 short shifter, underdrive pulleys, swapped 8.8 posi rear end, frame connectors, camber caster plates, strut tower brace, etc. Has a new top, convertible top cover. Nice project for someone to finish.
Needs little things like the manual window cranks all need the screw to hold them on, new top is the wrong one but I have the right one new in a box, brakes need to bled, convertible top motor needs new hydraulic lines, windshield is cracked, dash pad is cracked, a little rust on the rear passenger floor before the torque box, has a small leak behind the timing chain cover, and valve cover leaks (comes with complete engine gasket kit) a few other things I might be forgetting.
THIS VEHICLE IS BEING SOLD "AS IS". THERE IS NO WARRANTY, NO RETURN, NO REFUND. THIS IS A PROJECT VEHICLE THAT DOES RUN AND DRIVE. THIS VEHICLE COMES WITH A RHODE ISLAND REGISTRATION ONLY. RHODE ISLAND DOES NOT ISSUE TITLES FOR VEHICLES THIS OLD. PLEASE ASK ALL QUESTIONS BEFORE BIDDING. IF YOU HAVE ZERO FEEDBACK, YOUR BID WILL BE CANCELLED IF YOU DO NOT CONTACT ME FIRST.

Even though this is a running and driving project car, it will need to be towed or traileredto its new home. I do not trust driving this car because I have only yard driven it up and down the street a few times. It has residual oil on the headers that smokes off once it gets hot and there is is residual antifreeze on the top part of the timing cover. There is also a positive draw from the battery if the battery is left hooked up for a long time. Below are a couple old videos of the car I made when I first got it running. I bought it a while back as a non running project. PLEASE ASK ALL QUESTIONS BEFORE BIDDING AND YOU ARE MORE THAN WELCOME TO COME VIEW IT IN PERSON. IT IS FOR SALE LOCALLY FOR $2,000 but this is a no reserve auction.
