1956 Ford F-100 Custom Cab Additional Info:

This truck is a real big back glass truck! I purchased it in 2000 in east Texas, several years before the fake big window kits were marketed. I built this truck just like I envisioned. What you see is the static ride height. Black OEM Wheel Vintiques 15x6 front, 15x7 rear with spider cap centers. Tires are nearly new BFG Silvertown Radials 215/70-15 front, 285/70-15 rear The current look of the truck is silver suede with the black flaked roof & outlined scallops on the front fenders only. The other photos are of the past look of the truck. Body: The truck is solid! Original rust free floor pans & cab corners. It is all Ford steel except for the roll pans (front is fiberglass) & the tailgate, which is a 48-52 style. All paint work, pinstriping and Goldleaf work was performed by me. Paint is PPG custom mixed silver suede with pearl in the top coat, black diamond flaked roof & matching toolbox top. The toolbox in the bed is what I was told was a late 20's Chevy car trunk, it is steel I & it too is very solid with no rust. Suspension: 1977 Camaro FS (Completely rebuilt end to end less than 15k miles ago using MOOG rebuild kit), GM 10 bolt rear w/3:42 gears on Posie leafs. Drivetrain: 93 5.0 HO engine (carbureted) with a mild hyd. roller cam & custom head work. 85 Mustang Serpentine belt setup. 1968 FMX Trans. with shift kit & 1800 stall converter. Other features: GM van tilt column, 52 Buick Steering wheel, Pioneer head unit w/iPod jack, Planet Audio speakers and under seat amp., underdash Vintage air / 86 Mustang air conditioning, custom tuck & roll bench seat (upholstery by my father) I have driven this truck all over the eastern US. It is a driver, not a show car although it was used in Coker Tire ads, has been featured in Ol'skool Rodz & pictured in numerous issues of Classic Trucks an Goodguys Gazette magazine. If you buy this truck, you can fly here & drive it home without a doubt in my mind. Please email me for questions or for my phone number. I also have a short video of the truck I can send.
