Beautiful 1934 Ford Cabriolet

All steel body!

There are not many car collectors that would argue the fact that the best pre-war Fords were manufactured from 1932 to 1934. In 1932, Ford came out with the V8 engine and up until that time they were taking a back seat to Chevrolet who had a six-cylinder engine compared to the Model A four-cylinder engine. Not only did Ford improve the design and appearance of its product in 1932 but between 1932 and 1934 they created an iconic piece of automotive history. There are those who will argue which of the 1932, 1933 or 1934 is better looking, but here at MissChiTown, a service for car collectors who want to have their cars marketed on eBay, we too have our own opinion. We absolutely, hands down, prefer the 1934 Ford with all the additional styling cues such as the skirting of the fender, etc.The 1934 Ford Cabriolet that is featured in this eBay auction is not only outstanding for its intrinsic value as a 1934 Ford Cabriolet but is also a stand out because of the fabulous condition and is only made better with its fabulous color scheme. It is without a doubt our favorite color scheme for 1934. We should mention that the difference between a Cabriolet and a Roadster is that they are both two seater convertibles with rumble seats but the Cabriolet has the distinction of being an all-weather car with roll up windows in the doors. The truth be told if you have ever taken your collector car out on a bright and sunny day only to be suddenly caught in some bad weather there is nothing like having roll up windows as compared to side curtains on a roadster. Yes, the doors do have the roll up windows as mentioned before but you might want to make note of the suicide doors that are hinged on the back side and not the front side. The car in this auction was restored about ten years ago but still looks fresh and beautiful although it might have a few very slight blemishes. The private sellers tell us that this car has been an award winner many times over the years…it is a real crowd pleaser. Have no doubt about it, this car is all steel and per the couple that own the car, they believe the mileage of 92,139 is original. The car has all the little touches such as the step plate to the rumble seat, the wine holder in the rumble seat, tool box and jack. There is even a lock on the rear mounted spare. The convertible top is relatively new and follows the original style. The owners think nothing of taking this delightful car on two hundred mile jaunts and the car always starts, stops and runs exceptionally well. The original style white wall tires on the standard wire spoke wheels keep with the look of originality like the rest of the car. The car again is an all steel body and when it was restored it was done so that it looks like it would have when it was driven off the show room floor. The running gear is all standard Ford. The paint is very nice but may have some tiny flaws but take a look at the photos - it looks absolutely lovely. The owner told us that it is a very fancy car and is similar to the Pace Car of that year with the extra lights, the running and road lights. It also has a battery disconnect. The car also has two windshield wipers! The private sellers have provided many detail photos of the outside, inside, engine and underside so please take a look at the video to see the additional photos. The fabulous stance of the car sits just right and at the right height. The convertible top looks as taught as a drum. The owners of this car have enjoyed this car and said it is so nice it could be featured in a museum. The couple is hopeful that a new owner will take over the care and maintain this car as they have.If you are a pre-war Ford aficionado, we must say that we have not seen such an attractive 1934 Ford on eBay in quite some time. This is a rare opportunity to get an honest car that has been loved and a car that will give you tremendous pride of ownership. Bid to win and be happy that you did!
