1965 Ford Mustang Base Fastback 2-Door Additional Info:

1965 Ford Mustang Fastback, A code 289 V8, Auto Trans, Pony Interior, Factory AC, Springtime Yellow. Built in San Jose Calif., sold in Los Angels. In the summer of 1965 Scott Campbell also known as Scott "Tombstone" Campbell because he worked as a Stunt Man for the movies and TV. His longest role was as a stunt double for Richard Boone in the series "Have Gun Will Travel", also worked in the movies with John Wayne. Anyway in the summer of 1965 Scott bought this Mustang new in LA. He kept the car until his untimely death in the mid 70's. He left the car to his Niece Kelly and she was the caretaker for almost 40 years. I bought the car about 2 1/2 years ago it was a good driving and good looking car but it was a 10 footer. This is a numbers matching car with original engine I rebuilt the engine, new pistons, rings, cam, turned the crank, rebuilt the heads with new guides and harden seats for unleaded gas, new water pump, fuel pump, fuel tank and lines, brakes and added dual master cylinder, new radiator, restored AC and added Rotary compressor, rebuilt front suspension with new shocks ect. All new dual exhaust.I have the original parts that came off Valve covers, Air cleaner and AC compressor if you want them. The body was taken to bear metal and has 3 coats of base paint and 4 coats of clear. I built the car and never planned to sell it but things change so it is time to go. The car only has 898 miles after the restore was done. I want $1000 deposit within 24 hoursafter the end of the auction with the balance in 3 days.
