Up for sale or possible trade is my 1957 Thunderbird, 312 D-Code, 245 HP. Fordomatic, automatic. Most website say that the "D-Code" engine option adds 15% to the value and is only exceeded by the supercharged & dual quad (E and F-codes)... one of the nicest babybirds that you will find. No rust...as it was stored indoors for most of it's life.
PLEASE do your homework on checking out the values on these. I have added a snapshot of what several websites declare as "average" value.
Haggerty declares average value to be $41,500
Car Gurus declares average value to be $56,000
Concept carz declares average value to be $52,500
Classic Car News declares average value at $50,428
NADA declare average value to be $63,825
Virtually all sites say the value has soared about 20 - 25% this year alone... AND be assured this T-Bird is far above Average.

. the reserve is below the lowest Average sale price listed

This car was in same family for over 20 years, driven rarely... and then went over a decade in warm dry storage, untouched. After original owner died, the estate paid for a professional restorationin Newberg OR. to fully restore, which happened about 9 years ago. I bought the car from the people who bought it after the restoration, who in turn, owned the car for almost 8 years. They kept in a heated garage and only put 1500 miles on it. The Odometer says 28,000 miles and I believe that to be original. but have no way to 100% verify. If you look this car over, I think you'll agree. The 59 year old factory tach works perfectly and even the original clock keeps perfect time. Sorry, no soft top.
The only "non original" items on the car are:
* A Ford, engine chrome dress-up kit
* 6 blade flex-fan replacing the wimpy 4 blade
* Generator converted over to Alternator
* Holley performance 4 barrel carb.
* Aftermarket "Retro" radio & CD player in the trunk.
This carstarts, stops,runs, sounds, drives like it did in 1957... amazing! I am open to trades but the ONLY trade of interest to me would be for a 1956 - 1962 Corvette in equal condition.
