Up for sale is an amazing original 2-owner 1970 Bronco Sport with only 64k miles, verified by the second owner. Still wearing its’ original and beautiful Candy Apple Red factory paint with no rust showing, this is a truly amazing find. Rarely if ever will you find find a first-generation Bronco this original and well-preserved; this one is your keeper. Original factory Ownercard and Owner’s Manual are included with the sale, clear matching title in hand.

This wonderful Bronco was sold new in Tigard, Oregon and lived its’ entire life within 30 miles of the original dealership. Used only as a recreational vehicle for fishing, hunting, and camping, never as a daily driver, it has survived to this day in low-mileage excellent original condition. The drivetrain remains completely original, including never-opened numbers matching 302 2v engine, 3-speed manual transmission, and factory Limited Slip 3.50 ratio axles with factory Heavy Duty suspension, all in fantastic running and driving condition. Please note the included Marti report image, which verifies the vehicle's authenticity and options.

The body has no apparent rust; the vehicle has been loved and properly maintained its’ entire life. The paint is the ORIGINAL T-code Candy Apple Red and is still in shiny, beautiful condition as you can see; there is nothing hidden. The Bronco features the rare factory Sport package, which includes additional trim and brightwork, as well as the Bronco Sport side emblems. Glass, trim, etc. are in excellent condition, as you can see. Original restored 15” Ford steel wheels with later 70’s 4x4 hubcaps are mounted with 80% mud & snow tires. Original spare wheel and tire are mounted on the optional swing-away rear carrier... it still has the original cable to limit swing travel Original flip-down rear license plate bracket designed to run with the tailgate down is still present. The original fender-mounted retractable radio antenna is still present and in close to perfect condition. The vintage rear flares are the only body parts repainted to more closely match the factory body paint.

The Parchment interior upholstery is restored and is in beautiful condition, as you can see. The steering wheel and the dash pad are original and are in nearly perfect condition, not a crack. The interior also features a very nice original headliner, wiper motor cover, visors, etc. The dash itself is unmodified and in beautiful condition. The glove box door is original and still wears the ID tag and 4x4 instruction tag. The ignition, door, and rear hatch keys are original (2 sets). You will find the original 1970 Bronco Owner’s Manual and dealer Ownercard inside the glove box as well.

Factory options include the rare Sport package, body side moldings, rocker panel moldings, dual fuel tanks, swing-away rear spare tire carrier, AM radio, HD suspension, 3.50 ratio Limited Slip front and rear axles, locking front hubs, heavy-duty suspension, and factory skid plates. Out of only 16,750 Bronco wagons built in 1970, only about one-fourth were ordered with the fancy Sport package. How many are left?

Vintage period add-ons include a dealer-installed front winch bumper and PTO-driven winch, CB radio, under dash AM/FM Cassette player, auxiliary front driving lamps, a column-mounted vintage Tachometer, a full roll bar, and a proper receiver towing hitch. She also has an auxiliary front wiring harness for tow bar trailering behind an RV with a drop-down bumper mounted tow hitch.

Recent mechanical & maintenance work includes a full rebuild of the brake system, a full rebuild of the 3-speed manual shift column, clutch adjustment, rebuilt original carburetor, new fuel pump & filter, fresh tune-up including plugs, points, cap, rotor, and wires, a new air filter in the original housing, coolant flush and fresh coolant, new thermostat, and an oil change and new filter. She’s turnkey and ready to go.

Don’t miss out on one of the last low-mile, original, unrestored Bronco Sport 4x4’s still out there, inarguablyone of the best factory paint color combinations offered. I own a restoration shop, and appreciate a well-restored vehicle. That said, I appreciate an unrestored survivor even more... they are only original ONCE, and are by far the hardest to find and most valuable.

Clear title in hand, matches VIN exactly for export, inspection, etc.

Please be prepared to remit payment in full within 3 days of auctions end via deposit into my Bank of America account, or bank wire transfer.

While every effort is being made to describe the vehicle as precisely as possible, it is in fact a 46-year-old classic, and therefore being sold exactly as-is, without warranty or guarantee expressed, written, or implied. Shipping is the full responsibility of the buyer; I can assist in finding you an affordable carrier, and will make the vehicle and myself available for pick-up and loading on short notice; I prefer a 48-hour head’s-up.
