1950 Ford F-1 1/2 ton. Probably originally Silvertone Grey with a flathead V8 and 3spd column shift (3 on the tree) transmission. The flathead V8 is an EAB so I don't think it is original. It also looks like new motor mounts have been welded in. It does NOT turn over by hand but I didn't try to force it with a wrench. It might just be rusted in the bore and rebuildable. Its been sitting in a field and the plugs were left pulled out. The transmission is there as well.
The truck is an excellent rat rod candidate. The patina and writing on the doors and fenders is super cool. I would just lightly scotch-brite it and clear it.
It will need new floors and rockers. The bed has a steel plate welded in and a bend in the passenger side that will have to be straitened. The rear fenders have been cut at the rear but if you go with wide rear tires it will look pretty sweet from the back. The hood is useable but will have to be repaired at the hinge mounts. The doors will need some work to close properly and it will also need new running boards.
The frame is straight from the front to the rear with no rust but the front bumper mounts have been torn off and will have to be repaired.
There is a big aftermarket community for this truck and parts are readily available online.
The VIN tag on the glovebox door and the cowl tag are missing but I found the frame stamp and made it out the best I could. There is also a cowl plant stamp that can be decoded.
