This 1970 Ford Bronco Sport 4x4 has to be one of the best looking cut & flared Early Broncos on the pre-owned Early Bronco market today. Rocky Roads Custom Vintage Broncos restored it in 2014 & we just got it back on consignment. Rocky Roads built this Bronco so we know everything was done correctly and it's truly a rust free vehicle. This is a true Rocky Roads Bronco!
It has a rebuilt factory 302 engine with Ford Racing aluminum ribbed valve covers, MSD distributor, MSD electronic ignition system, Blaster 2 coil, Edlebrock carburetor, headers, new dual Flowmaster exhaust system routed correctly out behind the rear wheels, plus a beautifully restored engine bay. Great looking & great running engine that has great power and performs well. Aluminum radiator & high quality metal 7 blade cooling fan with a new black fan shroud. Factory 3 speed column shift & Dana 20 transfer case. New 23 gallon fuel tank with restored fuel system & recently rebuilt carburetor. Flaming River polished tilt steering column & LeCarra steering wheel.
Rocky Roads Legend dash with new two-piece billet aluminum speedometer bezel, new Centek wire harness, new HID headlamps, billet aluminum headlamp rings & tail light bezels, new battery cables & Optima battery & billet battery hold down system. Tom Lee Manufacturing built 3.2 turn power steering system, new chrome adjustable tie rod, new adjustable drag link & track bar, new track bar bushings & recent alignment. Power disc brake system in front, newer stock drum brakes in the rear, stops on a dime.
New match-painted black Legend dash with all new heater pulls, cables, chrome bezels & black knobs. New aluminum dash knobs, rebuilt speedometer with original miles. Rebuilt heater core, restored factory heater & new heater control valve, new Tuffy locking glove box & locking center console. New retractable seat belts just installed in front & in the back.
The body is very straight and in excellent condition. It has a Rocky Roads Cowl Induction fiberglass hood, new Autofab hood pin sets, new chrome removable door hinges that open and close properly with no sagging. Door latches were just removed, cleaned, serviced, properly lubricated & re-installed. California rust-free body with very clean floor pans and inner fenders. New black chrome outer door handles & inner door pulls, new black chrome door mirrors. New Rocky Roads Sport pleated vinyl door panels, rear side panels & tailgate paneling, custom fitted snap-in carpet mats in front, in back & behind the rear seats, new Alpine CD stereo system with Bluetooth, USB & four new JL Audio component speakers in the doors.
A new $8,500.00 glossy black paint job including installation of all new interior & exterior parts, new front & rear match painted fender flares new chrome Bronco Sport emblems, windshield & seal, window felts & channels in the doors, lower door seals & all new rubber throughout. Door gaps are tight and fitted, new chrome front bumper, new Rock Solid match painted rear bumper with swing out tire carrier & matching spare, all new grade 8 & stainless steel hardware has been meticulously installed throughout this vehicle, including the engine bay & dash.
All body bushings have all been replaced with new black urethane one-inch body bushings, fresh undercoating / black out undercarriage has been sprayed in, match painted engine bay, new black powder-coated Legend 4x4 Bronco family Roll Cage with brand new grade 8 hardware, Rocky Roads pleaded vinyl stock seats front & rear.
It has 2.5" suspension lift with new Rancho 9000 shocks all around, plus a 1" body lift. It has 5 new 17x9" Black MHT Fuel Hostage wheels with a matching spare & 5 new BFG All Terrain 305/65R17 tires. A lot of time and money has been invested into this Bronco in the last two years!
