Decided to let it go... The 55 "TBIRD" was fords answer to the corvette. This was one of the first 1600. It was developed and marketed as a personal Luxury Sports car. It out sold the corvette 23 to 1. This is a head turning, no excuses example. This was a great garage find we were blessed with 2 years ago and has been pampered to date. Engine and drive train have been professionally refreshed with any necessary parts needed. Interior has been Professionally redone. All new rubber moldings. New Chrome accents and bumpers. Paint has been freshened and polished. Correct Orriginal 292 engine, electric seats, Painted undercarriage. Correct Orriginal"Fordmatic" automatic transmission. Convertable and white hard top with portholes. A dream to drive. The list gos on.
