1949 Ford Custom Sedan - Shoebox - Kustom - Chopped - Leadsled
This is a fresh build, less than 2K miles.
I have spent the last four years (thousands of hours) building this car.It started as a solid Kansas car, last registered in 1981, and storedin the dry since then. Clear KY title. I looked at over a dozen choppedshoebox fords before I decided on how to chop this car. Most of themend up with a rear glass that lays too flat. Anyway, I think this carturned out nice with a moderate chop that looks like something Ford wouldhave made. This car is a pleasure to drive. The odometer shows 500 miles, but it actually has about 2,000 miles since being built (I justrecently found the correct length speedometer cable) All of thebugs are worked out, and it floats down the interstate at 70 mphlike a new car. I would not hesitate jumping in this car and runningcoast to coast. I've driven the car quite a bit this summer, butrecently changed the oil, and stored it.
