Just liberated from a body shop prison / paint shop prison after many years in solitary confinement. Selling because I lost interest. The Mustang is in storage and may be seen in person by appointment only with proof of verifiable funds enough for the purchase of the car, contact the seller to make arrangements to see the Mustang. Matt at Twisted Turbo Motorsports was nice enough to assist us with the liberation of numerous project prisoners as well as getting some of them put back on the road and ready for new owners to drive and enjoy. SELLING WITH NO RESERVE PRICE
We are offering up for auction a 1965 Ford Mustang 2+2 Fastback rolling body only. This is an extremely straight, essentially rust free car with all its original date codes in place. Be advised this is NOT some patched up rust bucket with a load of aftermarket sheet metal. It's all Ford and this car has never been wrecked! It is quite possibly the nicest 1965 Fastback body you will ever find! Far better than a dynacore body since its all original! The only part on the entire car with a rusty issue is a small area on the passenger side floor board. The pictures show the spot where a previous leak in a heater core caused the rust. The entire underside of the car has been sandblasted clean. This is nothing but metal, no primer. What you see is what you get. It has drum brakes, NO disc brakes. Set up as a racer with no A/C or other non-essentials. Originally it had a manual transmission but later was converted to an automatic (transmission not included). The door tag was removed by the body shop to paint the car but was not put back on. It originally had a 4.11:1 rearend in it but not sure what is in it now. It's an early October 1964 build date on the car.
