1959 Ford Thunderbird coupe/2 dr hardtop Additional Info:

Very nice car in what I believe is original unrestored condition. Speedo shows 27736, but who knows. PS, PB, AC, Cassette, power windows. The Pearl White paint may not be original, but I am not certain. Car was purchased last December from a widow in Inverness, FL. Husband had taken excellent care of the car and had records showing rebuild of all window motors, exhaust and other maintenance. I had the four barrel Ford carb rebuilt along with replacing the transmission rubber motor mount. New rear oil seals and gaskets were also installed as werethevent window rubbers. Factory Air Conditioning works great (as great as they worked in 1959), cassette player plays all the old favorites. Car runs out nicely (but does eat some gas). One photo shows some slight bubbling in the paint right above the left rear fender skirt. However, inspection of the underside shows no rust. Rocker panels are nice and clean. The headliner is intact, but some stiching is loose toward the front. Veryminor, but needs to be mentioned. I am selling because my wife finds the car too large. Our other cars are MGs.I conservatively place this machine between Category 3 and 2. Very nice, but not concours. Added: There is adecal on the rear view mirror that reads "City Hall Parking Permit #238, Sacramento, CA". The prior owner tried to track down the California owner, but came up blank. However, it shows the car was originally a CA car before finding it's way to Florida. Inverness, FL is 100 miles inland, so no salt water exposure.
