1990 Fiat Other Additional Info:

Hi Guys!
I have a real rough diamond for you :D I’m selling my little buddy, a 1990 Polish Fiat FSM 126.I had this car for 4 years, and it’s time to let it go and move on.Please PM for more high quality photos.
Little more about the car.I bought it with a friend of mine, as a learning platform :D Because we never dug into any car before, we thought it would be a good start. And it was.Especially when you have a book with all the directions. To play with it, you only need a couple of tools, and that’s the beauty of it. Sure, all vintage cars are usually easy to fix on you own but this one is even easier.
Apart from that, a big selling point for us was the fact that it’s rear-engined, air cooled, RWD :D Which means FUN! :D Sure thing, that’s no Porsche, but close enough ;)
Years went by and the car is still functional, became a daily driver for myself, as my buddy grew out of it and bought a modded 320bhp Bugeye WRX, now it’s time for me. So I started to look for a 944turbo.. just to catch up with him, we will see how it goes :D
I’m looking for someone that could give a little love to that car, and maybe bring one of the two ideas that I had for it to life, or maybe will find their own way to make it great. From all of my research, I found out that there are basically 3 ways to go:classicrallystance
We crossed the classic off our list at the beginning, we wanted for it to go fast as hell, and to look awesome while doing it.Both rally and stanced require changing suspension, but that’s no problem. It's got a leaf spring (you can change it’s height by using a hammer :D) in the front and rockers in the back. As for shock absorbers, I would recommend Bilstein - they produce them for this model. For the engine, you can find some Abarth parts, like the oil pan or valve cover, and you can swap them with ease. There are many mods available for the transmission. Heck, if you don’t want it original, you can even put a larger engine in there. We also thought about installing flares on it.
We put a better exhaust, there is a rare Monte Carlo steering wheel inside, and a mat in the storage compartment.Seats are vinyl.Engine is a 2-cyl 650, around 24bhp.It’s a 1990, so it’s the second generation - the FL, as they called it.There are a couple of chips here and there, but nothing that someone with a basic welding and painting skills couldn’t handle. All the rusty spots are on the outside. What's important, the floor is healthy.I have 3 sets of rims, classic 12", regular steel 13" and aluminum 13". They are all included, but every other 13" 4x98 should fit. If you want them larger - it's probably doable. If you know how to do it, go for it :DThe car is a perfect base for a project, it will serve the new owner well, and it will give a lot of joy.Color: Rosso FiamVIN:SUF126A0009736624
