1989 Ferrari 328 GTS Additional Info:

This 1989 328 GTS is as good as it gets after 27 years with 19K original miles!! I purchased the car from a Ferrari Show Judge who has aPlatinum GTB and he told me this car was better than his keeper and he was accurate in hisstatement as there is no one more picky than me!!
The tech at Ferrari of Atlanta was a factory trained 328 specialist back in the day and he was clearly impressed by this car. He suggested to get the car certified at the highest level - THE FACTORY! Their factory certification is called CLASSIQUE forthose of you notfamiliar. Only certain models can be certified in this manner regarding age, condition etc. The Ferrari dealer must submit very detailed photos and a write up of the car to the factory for their approval to have thecoveted RED CLASSIQUE BOOK w/ PROPER VIN TAGS. Cost of this certification is $4,500.
What this means to you as a buyer is that this car is exactly like it left the factory!! There are plentyof articlesaboutthe process you can read up on.
This car has all of it's original paintwhich only has a few imperfections but there are no excuses here - it's an alloriginal 19K miles car that has obviously been cared for over it's life! When I got the car last year I took it Ferrari of Atlanta and gave them the liberty to do whatever the car needed. They performed amajor service, rebuilt the radiator, replaced hoses (kept the originals), replaced diff seals, fuel pump, throttle cable, etc. The list entails more to the tune of $25K plus the $4,500 for the CLASSIQUE Certification. Part of that cost was the installation of a brand new Tubi exhaust system which only has 20 miles or so on it. I have theoriginal in the Tubi box. These 89 models are the first to have ABS brakes as well.
The car needs nothing! I'm sure Michael my service writer at the dealer or Richard the tech whoperformed all of this work will be glad to tell you about this car - it's the real deal collection piece!
I have the original window sticker, letter and envelope from Ferrari to the original buyer, all books, all tools, top cover, and 2 original keys. Brand new black mats are included with Yellow shield.
Feel free to call me to discuss at 850.502.1055 - Randy. The car is located in Alpharetta, GA just north of Atlanta. Thanks for looking!
