For sale is my 1958 Edsel Ranger 2 door hardtop, factory 3 speed stick shift. It was originally a Texas car. It is not a show car but rather a very nice looking driver. It is an older amateur restoration which has held up well.Repainted in original all black, seats were recovered in the original style but not the original fabric, door panels are original. Headliner was replaced but there are some blemishes around the back window.Safety belts were added front and rear.Most of the chrome was redone and is in very good condition but not necessarily show quality. The entire undercarriage was sandblasted, primed and painted, engine was rebuilt. Things that do not work: horn, radio, gas gauge, heater control dial, heater core leaks but is not connected, the right door glass is cracked, there is a small chip on the left side of the windshield, under dash wiring is messy and needs to be gone through. The fan for the heater works. It has a new battery, carburetor, water pump, gas tank reconditioned and the entire brake system has been replaced. It starts,runs and drives OK but needs some fine tuning.The tires are 30 plus years old and though they look good and hold air fine but should be replaced if you plan on driving it much. I have tried to describe this car as accurately as possible.
