Up for auction is this rough but relatively complete and unmolested Charger 500.-Automatic-Original engine and trans in the car-Console Shift in decent shape-Build sheet with the car-Originally White with Blue top and Blue interior-A/C car and all complete in the car-Interior is missing the passenger seat and door panels-All glass is with car but windshield will need replaced-Extra parts include:-2- 1966 383 motors partially disassembled w/ 906 heads-1 rebuilt 727 transmission with Coan convertor and specs-1 never installed year correct fiberglass hood-1 extra side window-1 extra a/c box and some misc. parts-2 70's white seats believe to be from an a-body with seat tracks decent shape-1 complete 2" dual exhaust for charger built by local muffler shop for big block used for 1 summer-1 extra vent window and frame-1 extra taillight and 1 extra taillight housing- box of misc. charger interior and mechanical parts-1 set of extra 70 Charger doors completeI bought this with intention of building another charger. I have recently built one 70 RT Charger and know what I have here is a good starting point despite the rust. This car sat for a long time, he theory is that one of the previous owners broke a torsion bar and parked the car. The broken torsion bar is still in the car thus the front end lean towards the drivers side. The floors are mostly gone but where the frame rails attach the rails are SOLID.The frame rails are solid all the way to the rusted out rear valance. The fenders appear to be solid but have primer on them so no 100% way of knowing without dipping them.Inner fenders are decent.Hood is rusted from underside and is not good.Trunk is rusted from underside and is not good.Rear quarters are rough and also in primer, aybe able to save with patch panels but with aftermarket quarters available makes more sense to replace.Roof is solid, o rust through on pillars.Firewall is decent but not perfect.Bumpers are driver quality.Grille is decent, inor restoration.Front valance is bad.Car rolls easily.Having restored one of these cars to award winning quality, can tell you that there is enough going for this car that it should be saved and many of the hard to find parts are here giving it a decent value.Ask questions, will respond. Keep in mind there is a $1500 transmission going with the car as well as the other extra parts so I am not giving it away. I am open to selling the car only but prefer to sell what is listed with the car. I also have a set of very solid NOS never installed fenders available for purchase but Not included in the auction. Thanks for checking this out!
